MISSION STATEMENTAt the Gears and Buccaneers, we foster innovation and collaboration, empowering our members with STEM knowledge and problem-solving skills. Through building robots, we aim to inspire and make a positive impact in our community.

The Gears & Buccaneers robotics team is an FRC team based out of Lafayette, CO! We were founded in 2008 at Dawson School and our rookie year is 2009! Our core values include innovation, communication, integrity, and compassion. We strive to challenge our members to apply these values in our season!

OUR LEADERS
This year's captains are Aayush R. and Lily R.! Aayush is our Manufacturing Team lead, is a integral part of our Business Team and is co-lead of Marketing! Lily is the Electronics lead, Marketing co-lead, and also part of the Business Team! She was also a Dean's List Semi-Finalist in the 2023-24 season.Deven S. is Code Team lead and Maggie N. is Business Team lead.

SEASON SUMMARY
The Gears & Buccaneers were Rank 24 at the Utah Regional in March! In April at the Green Country Regional, the Gears and Buccaneers were Rank 9 and 7th Alliance Captain!

SEASON SUMMARY
In the preseason, the Gears & Buccaneers placed Rank 12 at the Kendrick Castillo Memorial Tournament (KCMT) and were Captain of the 8th Alliance. They were Rank 22 and 2nd pick of the 7th Alliance at the Green County Regional. At the Greater Kansas Regional they were Rank 20 and 2nd pick of the 5th Alliance.
