MISSION STATEMENTAt the Gears and Buccaneers, we foster innovation and collaboration, empowering our members with STEM knowledge and problem-solving skills. Through building robots, we aim to inspire and make a positive impact in our community.

The Gears and Buccaneers robotics team is an FRC team based out of Lafayette, CO! We were founded in 2008 at Dawson School and our rookie year is 2009! Our core values include innovation, communication, integrity, and compassion. We strive to challenge our members to apply these values in our season!

This year's captains are Sam D. and Noel R.! Sam specializes in code, CAD, and drive! Meanwhile, Noel specialises in electronics, build, and drive! Last year, they worked together seamlessly during competitions. Sam controlled the drive train while Noel managed auxiliary functions!Aayush R. is Manufacturing Team lead and Marketing Team co-lead, Deven S. is Code Team lead, Lily R. is Electronics Team lead and Marketing Team co-lead, and Maggie N. is Fundraising Team lead.

2022-23 Season

SEASON SUMMARY
The Gears and Buccaneers were Rank 24 at the Utah Regional in March! In April at the Green Country Regional, the Gears and Buccaneers were Rank 9 and 7th Alliance Leader!
